Role summary
The Service Representative is responsible for running the delivery and pickup routes for assigned customers, ensuring professional, high-quality service. They are the face of the company to the customer and safeguard customer satisfaction on every visit.
Objective
Ensure the timely, accurate, and professional delivery and pickup of products to assigned customers, acting as the company’s representative on every visit and contributing to the retention and satisfaction of Cadillac Uniform & Linen Solutions customers.
Key responsibilities
- Run the daily delivery and pickup routes for products (uniforms, mats, linen, among others) to assigned customers, following the established itinerary.
- Verify, count, and document the products delivered and picked up at each stop, making sure the counts match the service orders.
- Obtain the customer’s signature on delivery and pickup documents as confirmation of the service provided.
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service that reflects the company’s values on every visit.
- Identify and report complaints, shortages, damaged items, or any service irregularity to the immediate supervisor.
- Operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, complying with Puerto Rico traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Perform the daily inspection of the assigned vehicle and report any mechanical deficiency before starting the route.
- Promptly notify the supervisor of any route change, delay, accident, or situation that affects the itinerary.
- Support the customer relationship by identifying opportunities to improve service or additional needs to pass on to the sales team.
- Comply with all safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license issued by the Puerto Rico Department of Transportation and Public Works; commercial license (CDL) preferred depending on the assigned vehicle.
- Physical ability to load, unload, and handle products and merchandise containers throughout the workday.
- Excellent communication skills, customer focus, and professional conduct at all times.
